Nurturing future‑ready classrooms through PARAKH‑aligned ELT training and holistic progress tracking
The Ridge School, in collaboration with Oxford University Press, hosted an exceptional ELT Workshop on “Skill Training and Assessment for PARAKH and Tracking Progress on the Holistic Progress Card (HPC) in an English Classroom” on November 1, 2025. Designed for English educators, the session focused on aligning classroom practices with NEP‑oriented assessment frameworks and strengthening evidence‑based tracking of student progress. Led by renowned author and ELT expert Ms. Gayatri Khanna, the workshop offered rich insights into competency‑based education, formative assessment strategies, and the effective use of the Holistic Progress Card in everyday teaching.
The program equipped Ridge School teachers with practical tools to frame clear learning outcomes, design authentic assessment tasks, and use feedback data to support every learner, while students also had the privilege of interacting with Ms. Khanna and drawing inspiration from her experience—reaffirming The Ridge School’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional growth.
