House System at Ridge School, Kurnool
At Ridge School, Kurnool, the House System is a cornerstone of our student leadership and engagement framework, fostering responsibility, collaboration, and a deep sense of belonging from Class I to X. Each student is placed in one of four houses: Aravalli, Sahayadri, Nilgiri, and Vindhya—named after India’s iconic mountain ranges that symbolize strength, diversity, and endurance.
Under the guidance of committed House Mentors and student leaders, each house conducts In-House Assemblies that serve as vibrant platforms for creativity, expression, and skill-building. These assemblies nurture student voice and initiative, while Inter-House Competitions offer opportunities to showcase talents across academics, arts, sports, and service.
This dynamic system cultivates leadership, teamwork, and healthy competition, while nurturing a spirit of camaraderie among students. It aligns with Ridge School’s mission of holistic development and excellence, empowering students to grow as confident individuals and responsible citizens, united by house spirit and shared purpose.
